The deadline of the compo has been extended to Sunday night, August 7. You now have a little more time to polish up your entries and put extra special sauce on them. :)

Hello everyone! The new compo scripts allow team ranking as well as judging.
The judging is different this time. Every category has a value of 0 to 10, and the categories are not tallied together. Instead, each team gets to be a "winner" in each category that it gets the most judging points in.
For Team Rankings, each team member will get to rank which team made the best game out of the teams that they did not participate in. If there are two or more teams that you are not on, you get to rank those teams' entries, giving maximum points to the team you rank the highest.
To join a team, you will need to go below and click the "Join here" link. At the bottom of the resulting page you can apply to join a team. The team leader will need to accept your application. You can see the status of your application near the top of every page. If you are accepted, you will need to activate your team membership by clicking the provided link in that area.
The compo will start on July 11 at 12:01 AM UTC, which is 5:01 PM July 10 Pacific Time, 8:01 PM July 10 Eastern Time, and 1:01 AM July 11 in England on British Summer Time. When Daylight Savings Time is not in effect, UTC is the same as regular GMT. So the compo begins in about 2 days and 3 hours from this posting. At that time, the compo starting rules will be visible below "Rules". Have fun!
