    • The crystals have been stolen by the cruel, intelligent, gelatenous blobs otherwise known as slimes, and it's up to you to find them. Which such plot elements as "i r destroy house now r i destroy you" and "grr i'm the big red meanie" this game deserves five points. Not to mention the world turning grey, which is annoying but also inventive!

    • Everything works just fine, except that the big slime that gives you a colour bit in the destroyed house apologizes to you before you even whoop him unless you talk to that slime outside the castle gates. Tossing me out of the engine and saying I suck at life is cruel and unusual, especially after you tease me with the title screen right before you do it. ;-) Also there is a bug with the name system, where if you put in your name it sets it to Dennis.

    • This is classic Verge :> It just feels like it; The gradient tiles, the character animation and style, and the oddball sense of humour, employed all the way from the game to the readme file. The unfinished battle system is annoying as hell because as far as I can tell, it has no meaning in this version of the game. You can't lose, the coloured balls don't mean anything, but it does take up time. The game might be more fair if you just ran through it collecting bits ;-) The highlight of the game for me was the chippies from troupe, but he knows that's my soft spot.

    • I don't know if I would say the game is 'fun' as much as I would say it is 'funny'. It stole a few laughs from me, and I enjoyed beating back the greyscale world with the colour bits more than anything. It would be nice to be barely holding on, as opposed to inevitably failing the game of tug of war. (yes I know someone out there beat this game)

A nice game from a verge crew, people I havn't heard from in a long while.
The readme says you don't claim the game to be balanced, and it isn't ;)
Why am I shooting balls of colour at slimes?
