- Story doesn't play a big role in this one, but it also does more than just establish why the battle is taking place. The camera jumps from character to character, and dialogue is delivered with some timing. It adds a lot to the game to have that happening in engine.

- NexTime has no major bugs whatsoever that I came across. Though, there are some minor ones. The mentioned scroll bug, and how F12 only works after the cinema scene. However, I also found on my system that once in fullscreen mode F12 didn't switch back to windowed mode. In fact, you couldn't switch back to windowed mode at all.

- This is where the game shines. The use of a hex engine is refreshing, and the tiles are very well done. The sprites are decently done but some are lacking.
The in game music by couchfiend is probably my favorite music from all the games. Simple, catchy, and to the point. I forgive it it's low sound quality and awful loop.
- Fun: - 15/30
- This game has a very fun idea, and fun to sit back and think about the potential in your mind but the game itself, as uploaded, isn't really fun. Perhaps I just like my games with a dash of action, but the map itself was very unbalanced and unchallenging. Something you probably don't want in a strategy based game. Basically, you can wipe everything out with a cleric and the captain while yawning.
This is an excellent demo. I say demo and not game because it's more of a demonstration of a hex engine than a game. I think that is it's ultimate shortcoming in this compo. More substance would have boosted this one over and above the competition.
