Story/Setting: 15/20
Functionality: 12/15
Graphic Continuity: 9/20
Immersion: 25/30
Rules and Misc: 13/15
Overall Score: 74
- Story/Setting: - 15/20
- Kill all the bugs that come out in spring. Fun setting but a title screen would of added much. Bosses and levels would of added goals to the game. Such as clear the yard or kill the huge bug.
- Functionality: - 12/15
- Lets start at 15. Grab too many spirits and the game becomes unplayable -2. No title screen and no the console box doesn't count -5. Being able to do multiple actions at once +2. Having multiple buttons for each action +2.
- Graphic Continuity: - 9/20
- Lets start at 20. In normal mode the text is hard to read -5. Calling the spiny things spirts is stretching it -1. Use of consul to display txt -5. I wouldn't have been hard to make a simple screen to display the txt and the high scores need at least a background.

- Immersion: - 25/30
- The high score thing works well because you can send it to a server and see the high scores. Powerups and the enemies getting stronger as you go on makes the game play different as you go on. As I said before having bosses and levels would of added alot to the game.
- Rules and Misc: - 13/15
- Screenshot +3: In game screenshot of you fighting the enemies. Good.
Name +4: I love the random name generator and some of the names are hilarious. They can be hard to read though. Good spirits +0: It would never of occurred to me that the spiky things were the sprits without being told. Spring +4: Spring is central to the game setting. Actions +1: While you do have two actions the teleport action isn't really useful. +1 "bugs shouldn't have names" makes me laugh.
The only complete game in the compo and its fun. There are some grapical oddness but overall a game that I would go back too.
