- Story/Setting: - 5/10
- In the year 1942, Germany has conquered all of europe and now presses the borders of the United States of America. However, we know that the allies won the war. How can this be? What caused a return from the brink of defeat? The allied secret weapon - spirit options! ... is a more interesting version of what you'll read in the readme file which isn't addressed during gameplay whatsoever. It's a scary world, covered in green hills and clouds.. all of which look the same.. and the sea is hard as marble, and does not flow.

- The game is functional. You shoot and enemies die. You get hit and you die.
You call spirits, they come. You press afterburner, I think you move a little faster. This is leagues beyond your xmas game Akujin, good going. Once again, good job breaking into three dimensions. The bounding boxes are a tad big, the game is a tad boring. You can play without fear by simply moving horizontally across thre screen and back again while holding down fire, your bullets seem to hit enemies that arn't on the screen quite yet.

- You have a few models, and some facing sprites. A plane(hehe) in three space for water, a cute little hill, a transparent cloud, and a circular graphic for a square radar (which didn't really need to be there). The planes fit in, the colors match, this isn't annoying to look at whatsoever. The explosions totally blow. Good job.
- Immersion: - 15/25
- Even though the music, and probably sfx as well, are ripped.. they are there.
Aside from the music and sfx, the game has little immersion. After you've played the first ten seconds, it's all the same. Even down to the scrolling scenery. What, you couldn't randomize the location of that hill each time at least?

Again, not the best game here by far, but leagues. EONS. beyond what you had last compo akujin. Keep up the good work, shooters are a fav of mine!
